To be able to obtain prior approval prior to undertaking any developments on the land, local governments in pursuant with the relevant national laws, standards and procedures have laid down a series of procedures and steps for issuing Building Permits and Completion Certificates.

Please also note that the local governments are entitled to carryout out site visits to ensure compliance with the approved permits.

How to apply for Building Permit Fees

They include:

• Login or Register an account as an applicant
• From your dashboard select new Building permit fee. Fill out the application form and Submit it. The technical officers at the district will review the application.
• After approval, an invoice will be generated and a notification for payment shall be sent via SMS or email. Open the invoice from your dashboard and select Pay Now.
• Upon successful payment, the application will proceed to the Director of Public Work for approval/revert.
• Download and print your Building permit fees receipt.
